As a Computing Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students across KS3, KS4, and KS5. You will create a stimulating learning environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of computer science principles. Your role will include developing lesson plans in line with the national curriculum, assessing student progress, and preparing students for exams and real-world applications in the tech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Computing Science to a range of abilities from Years 7 to 13.
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback and support.
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the field of Computing Science.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Degree in Computing Science or a related field.
Experience teaching Computing Science at secondary school level, ideally including A-Level.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology and education.
