We're currently working with a highly regarded local authority located in a beautiful offshore location, for an experienced Children’s social worker to join the Child and Family assessment team, for a great pay rate of £43 per hour.
This council takes pride in providing the best service to all children and families involved, as shown by their 'Good' Ofsted rating. They are looking for someone to put their best foot forward and be part of their journey in providing the best service possible to help achieve 'Outstanding', while being surrounded by a close-knit team and supportive management structure.
Other benefits of the role include a manageable caseload, as cases are split evenly across the service. You will also be joining a strong team, with regular meet-ups outside the office, and you will have support from colleagues and friends!
There will be regular supervision, and the longstanding permanent senior management team are always on hand for support and a second opinion as needed.
As well as a weekly accommodation bonus of £250, you will also receive paid return ferries weekly, allowing you to come and go from the island as you please.
As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
