A professional and reliable provider of Asbestos Removal services in the West Midlands is currently seeking to take on a commercially minded and hard-working Asbestos Operations Manager. This role would suit someone with an extensive background in the asbestos industry, working in an operations/management position, looking to join a continuously growing and forward-thinking company. You will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and supporting asbestos staff day to day on Domestic, Commercial, and Industrial sites. Experience & Qualifications:
1. Proven track record working for an established Asbestos outfit as an Asbestos Operations Manager.
2. Excellent operational/managerial skills.
3. Extensive knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
4. Able to communicate with colleagues and clients of all levels professionally via phone, email, and face-to-face.
5. Excellent IT skills.
6. Able to organise workload in line with company and client needs.
7. Keen eye for detail.
The Role:
1. Attending a mixed portfolio of established sites and gathering information to produce competitive and accurate quotes and tenders.
2. Professionally and efficiently overseeing, managing, and providing continued support to a team of asbestos workers.
3. Delegating work & organising operatives schedules in line with company and client requirements.
4. Creating site-specific RAMS, ensuring to amend accurately when required.
5. Overseeing staff on site & carrying out appraisals, creating tailored training/progression plans.
6. Acting as first point of contact for clients on site, providing technical support and advice and dealing with any issues in a professional and timely manner.
7. Working closely with internal management to ensure smooth day-to-day running.
8. Carrying out audits and inspections on site.
9. Completing ASB5s, ensuring to submit to the correct authority.
10. Ensuring work is being carried out in accordance with agreed timescales and client specifications.
11. Attending client meetings, ensuring to represent the company professionally.
