The Chief Executive of Bristol Autism Support will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and stakeholder engagement to drive sustainable growth, deliver impactful support for families of autistic children, and ensure the charity's long-term success.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
• Strategic Planning and Execution: Setting and driving the vision, goals, and strategies to
achieve BAS’ mission for the next 3-year period and beyond.
• Operational Oversight: Ensuring effective, inclusive management across all operational areas, including financial health and organisational development.
• Team Leadership and Development: Creating a positive workplace culture and leading on team recruitment, management and development. Effectively delegate responsibilities within an experienced team to enhance efficiency, empower staff, and promote professional growth.
• Fundraising and Income Generation: Developing and implementing strategies for
sustainable revenue, including grants, donations, and partnerships.
• Financial Management: Overseeing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Programme and Service Delivery: Overseeing the design, delivery, and impact measurement of our community programmes and events.
• Governance and Board Reporting: Collaborating with the Chair and Board of Trustees to ensure strong governance, accountability, and legal compliance. Providing regular updates and reports on operational performance, financial health, and strategic progress to the Board
