Monarch Education is advertising on behalf of a large academy in Bolton that is looking for a Cover Supervisor to provide ongoing assistance within the school. As a Cover Supervisor, you will ensure the continuity and consistency in students' learning by overseeing classes when the regular teacher is absent. This would likely require early morning calls in order to assist the school in the event of a last-minute absence. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone, ideally with UK classroom experience, to broaden their skillset. This role would suit someone with experience working with young people in various settings who wishes to gain classroom experience. It would also suit recent PGCE graduates or people with experience working with young people who are considering studying for their PGCE in the future. The successful candidate must: Have UK-based experience working with young people A full enhanced DBS will be required. You must have a strong presence in the classroom and follow the school behaviour policy to ensure a positive learning environment is maintained. You will: Confidently deliver lesson plans the teacher leaves, making changes to suit the class and individual students as needed.
