Are you an experienced behaviour mentor looking for a new challenge?
Do you have the necessary experience and personality skills equipped to deal with this challenging environment?
Have you worked in a secondary school, PRU, or SEMH alternative provision for a minimum of two years, and would like to transfer these skills to a mainstream secondary school?
If yes, then we want to hear from you!
Behaviour Mentor - The Role
I am currently working with a large academy trust that is looking to grow its inclusion team over the next few months. This school has seen an increase in students at risk of exclusion and wants to find the best talent to help make an impact and mentor students before this happens. The role would see you working as a behaviour mentor with students 1:1 and in small group settings, having a big focus on utilising your skills, like sports or the arts, as a route to de-escalating and managing behavioural needs.
Behaviour Mentor - The School
The school is one of four in a large academy trust based in Croydon, which is situated close to all public transport networks, along with parking facilities. You will work with students from 11 to 18 and will work with all needs and abilities. Currently, the school is totally oversubscribed, so they offer a lot of room for progression for the right person.
