The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and replacements. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used during servicing. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the workshop environment. Experience and Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance or time-served experience is essential. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle systems. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. A relevant qualification in automotive technology or engineering is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
