We are seeking a skilled Site Facilities Operator to join our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of repair, maintenance, and improvement tasks at two commercial properties.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skills in general maintenance and repair, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Working on a part time basis - hours are flexible, working between 16 and 20 hours per week, based in Blackwood.

Site Facilities Operator Main Duties and Responsibilities
* General Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaks, and repairing broken fixtures.
* Repairs: Undertake minor and major repair works, including plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
* Installations: Install new equipment, furniture, and fixtures as required.
* Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify and address maintenance needs.
* Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Emergency Repairs: Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
* Customer Service: Interact with clients in a professional manner, addressing their maintenance needs and concerns.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each task.
* Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance tasks.
Site Facilities Operator Qualifications and Skills
* Experience: Proven experience as a Site Facilities Operator or in a similar role.
* Skills: Proficient in a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance.
* Tools: Ability to operate hand and power tools effectively and safely.
* Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
* Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
* Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Time Management: Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Driving Licence: Valid UK driving licence essential.
