Assistant Building Surveyor Salary & Benefits:
Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 (DOE)

Carrying out detailed measured surveys and preparing accurate CAD drawings
Conducting building surveys, inspections, condition schedules, and planned maintenance reports
Preparing drawings and liaising with local authorities for planning applications
Developing initial and detailed designs ensuring compliance with building regulations and guidance
Producing technical specifications, tender documents, and work schedules
Supporting contract administration duties, including contract preparation, cost monitoring, and issuing instructions
Managing tender processes, preparing tender analyses, and liaising with contractors
Participating in and chairing client and contractor meetings, preparing minutes, and managing actions
Monitoring construction works on-site, addressing technical issues, and liaising with contractors
Providing technical support to the property management team and handling smaller project tasksAssistant Building Surveyor Job Requirements:
Degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited)
Ideally 1-2 years post-graduate experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ambition to achieve MRICS status
Proactive approach and ability to manage tasks independently and collaboratively
