Our client, a Construction Consultancy, based in Tewkesbury, are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. The Quantity Surveyor will be working on a range of sectors including; Housing, Healthcare, Education, Commercial & Industrial, Retail, Leisure and Interiors. In this position, you will be taking on projects at varying stages, from inception through to completion. The projects will vary in sizes typically ranging from 500k to over 5m. The role will include traditional QS duties, Contract Administration and Project Management. Senior Quantity Surveyor Position Overview
Preparing and using cost data derived from the plans and drawings
Project timeline and program
Undertaking feasibility work
Producing estimates, budgets and cost plans
Undertaking value engineering, comparative design studies
Utilising cost-in-use studies, life cycle costing
Preparing and interpreting turnover and cash flow projections
Providing cost control during pre-contract
Advising on different forms of contract and procurement routes
Senior Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements
Prior experience working as a QS (contractor or consultancy side)
Residential project knowledge is advantageous but not essential
Knowledge of JCT Contracts
Full UK driving license
Relevant Quantity Surveying Degree or similar (not essential if qualified via experience)
