Sherbrook Site | Ages 13-19 | SEMH, ASD, ADHD
Endeavour Academy is a nurturing and inclusive special school, supporting pupils with moderate learning difficulties, ASD, and SEMH needs across two sites. We are on an exciting journey to enhance outcomes, engagement, and opportunities for our young people.
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and resilient teacher to join our Onsite Alternative Provision (OAP) team at Sherbrook, working with students who have disengaged from traditional education. The OAP offers a flexible, relationship-based approach for students with complex SEMH needs, ADHD, and ASD.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver personalised, creative learning to re-engage students and build essential skills.
* Support students through the bespoke OAP route for those struggling with formal learning.
* Be committed to offering alternative learning opportunities that engage our young people- current offers and interests include woodwork, mechanics, outdoor education such a DofE or bushcraft.
* Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and positive relationships in a structured but nurturing environment.
* Work collaboratively with the OAP Lead, two TAs, families, and external professionals to develop individualised learning strategies.
