- Stambridge, Rochford, Essex
- Hourly rate - £12.00 per hour
- Part time - 30 hours per week
- Full UK driving licence with own car essential (or motorcycle)
About the role
We are recruiting several female colleagues to join our team, primarily for wake night shifts (10 pm - 7 am) with flexibility to cover day shifts as needed, including induction and training during daytime hours.
This position involves supporting two females living in separate flats within the same home. In your first two weeks, you'll receive a comprehensive induction during day shifts to fully prepare you. By Week 3, you'll transition to working independently through the night in one of the flats, while another staff member supports the person in the adjacent flat.
This supported living home in Stambridge is 15 minutes from Southend - On- Sea and 20 minutes from Rayleigh centre and we also offer free parking on site! Due to limited public transport, applicants must have a full UK driving licence with own vehicle.
Working 10 pm - 7 am, each night is about offering support that goes beyond routines. Each night, you'll focus on creating a safe and supportive environment. This means being present for emotional support and well-being, lending a hand with settling routines, and sometimes helping with a tea, coffee, or light snack if needed.
You will conduct medication spot checks, ensure all protocols are followed, and report any updates or changes through our systems. Confidence with IT is a plus, as maintaining accurate records is a vital part of our support approach. Light cleaning in shared staff areas is part of the role, with occasional deeper cleaning tasks as needed.
