Responsibilities: Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across various subjects Leading small group interventions to enhance student progress Covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher Assisting with classroom management and student engagement Supporting students with additional learning needs Requirements The successful HLTA will have; HLTA qualification (or relevant experience) Previous experience working in a secondary school setting Strong communication and organisational skills A passion for education and student development Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship) All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
