As our Accounts Assistant, you will Support the finance team by providing administration support across all functions within the Department, Suppliers and Members to achieve the AIS Strategy. Act to further key objectives and improve the team, member and supplier ways of working, collaboration and communication. The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for the accurate processing of Cenpac supplier documents and deliver quality customer support. To support and assist with the operational requirements within the Finance function as required. Key responsibilities as our Accounts Assistant: Process Cenpac supplier invoices and credit notes within the designated timeframes. Maintain the Cenpac stop/debit notes process, ensuring that they match against the credit notes. Adjust and process documents as required onto the Cenpac system. Ensure member and supplier queries are dealt with in a professional and timely manner. Conduct supplier statement reconciliations. Assist with preparing supplier payment runs. Develop knowledge and understanding of members and suppliers to ensure changes in circumstances are reported as quickly as possible. Identify and resolve the root cause issues with supplier and member documents to ensure accurate and timely processing. Support the Senior Finance Assistant through undertaking finance tasks in order to aid the smooth running of the department. What we’re looking for in our Accounts Assistant : Good working knowledge of Excel and MS Office applications. Previous experience in a finance role, dealing with transactional level documents and queries. Working towards a finance qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, and diligent. Effective interpersonal skills ensuring queries are dealt with efficiently and with tact. Attention to detail with a high standard of accuracy for all work. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, ability to prioritise multiple tasks. Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines Ability to think creatively and think outside the box. Propose new solutions in order to find ways to deliver the best outcomes.
