What skills and experience we're looking for
You will be required to work with a team of other Activity Support Officers and the Activity Support Manager in providing the care and supervision of pupils attending the after school club. You will also ensure that the health and safety, welfare and good behaviour of the pupils is in accordance with school policy.
You must be able to work as part of a team and have strong communication skills. You will be required to demonstrate and promote positive behaviour at all times and carry out tasks such as activity planning and food preparation.
Experience of working with children/young people in a nursery or school environment is essential for this job. Specific training will be given to the successful candidate (food hygiene, first aid, safeguarding)
