About the Role: As a Social Media Executive, you will manage TCL’s social media strategy for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager. Working closely with the design team, EUBG team, and local agencies, you will develop and execute engaging content to drive brand awareness and audience growth. This hybrid role requires attendance at our Slough office on a weekly basis. Key Responsibilities Social Media Strategy : Oversee and execute the social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to align with TCL’s brand objectives. Content Localization : Adapt EUBG social content with support from the design team to suit local audiences. Content Creation & Management : Plan, create, and publish engaging content on a monthly social content calendar. Develop assets including self-shot, edited, and AI-enhanced content, maintaining brand consistency across channels. TikTok Expertise : Build TCL’s presence on TikTok, including managing TikTok Shop, livestreams, and shoppable content. Community Engagement and Strategy: Monitor and manage conversations across social media channels by responding to comments, DMs, inquiries, and mentions. Foster and grow relationships with our followers by moderating and initiating discussions, and proactively sharing community insights with the Brand team to identify opportunities for increasing brand awareness. Influencer Marketing : Manage influencer partnerships for YouTube reviews, brand collaborations, and user-generated content. Performance Reporting : Track and analyze social media metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and refine strategies as needed. Agency Management : Supervise the local social media agency, ensuring smooth execution of the social strategy and brand alignment. Cross-Team Collaboration : Maintain regular communication and alignment with the EUBG team. Event Attendance : Represent TCL at industry events, exhibitions, and campaigns as needed to support brand visibility and engagement. Experience and Skills Required Social Media Expertise : Proven experience with social media management, especially TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. Hands-on experience with TikTok Shop setup, livestreams, and shoppable content is a plus. Creative Content Skills : Proficiency in content creation, including self-shooting, editing, and basic AI-assisted post-production. Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with consumer electronics or tech is advantageous but not required; training and support will be provided. Analytical Skills : Experience with social media analytics to track, evaluate, and report on campaign performance. Project Management : Strong organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns and content schedules. Brand Awareness : Ability to maintain brand consistency and adapt content to fit TCL’s identity and guidelines. Communication Skills : Effective collaboration with influencers, agencies, and internal teams. Interest in Gaming, Sports, and Tech : A genuine interest or insights into gaming, sports, and technology trends will be beneficial for creating relevant and engaging content.
