If so, we are looking for an experienced plumber to join our growing estates team, at a key point in the PFI contract. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled professional, with a strong background in plumbing, and a passion for delivering top-quality workmanship.
Main Duties
As a Plumber, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, planned and reactive maintenance of all plumbing systems across the on-site commercial buildings and living accommodation, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards, and compliant with safety regulations / codes of practice, including SFG20, and all relevant ACoP's / JSP's.
The role supports the wider estates team with all aspects of water hygiene inspections / maintenance, and participation in the On-Call Rota. You will be required to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
What We Are Looking For
* City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 and above or equivalent technical diploma.
* 3 years post qualification experience in plumbing maintenance, preferably in a commercial setting is desirable.
* Experience with a wide range of plumbing systems and fixtures.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, safe systems of work and industry best practice.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and internal teams.
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, working at height, and in restrictive spaces.
* High level of attention to detail to ensure all work is completed accurately and to the highest standards.
* Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines, with a willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota.
* Hold a full UK driving license.
* Ability to achieve full security clearance (SC).
