Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Trades Sales Estimator based in their offices in Leeds. To provide an effective trade sales service to supply only customers that’s quick, efficient, and friendly in order to achieve optimum customer satisfaction and maximize current and future sales.
Duties
1. Drive sales by building customer relationships; get to know trade supply only customers and the needs of their business or project.
2. Establish sales leads with supply only customers via e-mail, telephone, or face to face in the office.
3. Maintain customer relationships to generate potential sales orders.
4. Assist trade supply only customers in providing accurate information and advice on product options and variations and provide accurate quotes.
5. Pursue quotes provided to supply only customers in a timely manner to secure sales.
6. Understand and know the Building Regulations to provide advice to customers.
7. Learn limitations and wide loadings of buildings and products.
8. Keep accurate and detailed records of calls made and success achieved using the CRM system.
9. Set up new trade supply only customer accounts within Company set customer terms and approved by Sales Manager.
10. Liaise with internal departments to ensure all changes to orders are communicated effectively and timely.
11. Produce detailed and accurate manufacturing specifications using Windows Designer processing software and Logical (Aluminium) for the production of trade supply only sales orders.
12. Provide effective verbal and written communication with trade supply only sales customers.
This role may suit someone who has been working within the glazing industry in a similar role - e.g., order processor, customer service, or sales, and who is looking to progress their career within Estimating.
Alternatively, you may have been pricing a similar/related product within building supply.
