We are looking for Access Platform Service Engineer for MEWPS Machinery such as Scissor Lift, Articulated Boom Lift and Telescopic Boom Lift etc. You will play a central role when it comes to product service and product training. You will be actively supported by your colleagues.
Job Location: Yard 9, Lambourn Business Park, RG17 7RY or Hybrid.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure all MEWPS Products are maintained to manufacturer standards.
* Perform pre-hire inspections, scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a comprehensive range of powered access equipment.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
* Provide on-site and remote support to customers requiring equipment servicing, repairs, and certification.
* Maintain accurate fleet records, ensuring proper documentation of machine allocations by serial numbers.
* Work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring punctuality and responsiveness in all tasks.
Your Profile:
* IPAF CAP Certification for examining powered access equipment (minimum categories 1b – 3a – 3b).
* Full UK driver’s license (valid and active).
* Valid IPAF Card.
* Strong PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) knowledge and expertise in MEWPs (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms).
* Extensive experience in fault finding and diagnostics on powered access equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics for troubleshooting.
* Strong fleet management mindset, with a keen eye for machine allocation and record-keeping.
* Comprehensive knowledge of safety precautions and procedures for handling mechanical equipment.
