An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a qualified Interim Finance Director to support a prominent multi-site organisation during a crucial transitional period, on an ongoing six-month contract.
This role is suited for a seasoned professional with a proven track record of navigating complex financial landscapes within large-scale and multi-location businesses.
The Interim Finance Director will oversee the organisation's financial strategy and operations, playing a pivotal role in ensuring stability and driving key initiatives during this period of change.
Location: Midlands (2-3 days p/w onsite)
Contract length: 6 months +
Candidate Rate: £800-£1,000 per day (outside IR35)
Key Responsibilities of the Interim Finance Director
1. Overseeing the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring the seamless execution of financial processes.
2. Managing all commercial and technical accounting functions, maintaining the organisation's financial integrity, and driving compliance.
3. Providing robust financial analysis to inform critical decision-making and supporting the senior leadership team in achieving strategic objectives.
Requirements of the Interim Finance Director
1. CIMA, ACA, or ACCA are highly desirable.
2. Possess a combination of commercial acumen, technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
3. Extensive exposure as a senior finance professional in a large and multi-site organisation is required.
4. Proven ability to lead and manage diverse finance teams in challenging environments is essential.
5. Track record of delivering results in transitional or transformational contexts, supported by strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
