The Role: As a Family Solicitor, you will provide high-quality, proactive legal advice that meets client needs. You will manage a diverse caseload of family law matters with minimal supervision, aiming to achieve the firm’s fee targets and supporting team members in doing so. You will also play a key role in enhancing the firm’s reputation within the community and contributing to marketing initiatives. Main Responsibilities: Family Law Services: Provide expert advice and support in various aspects of family law, including: Divorce and separation Financial settlements Child custody and arrangements Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements Cohabitation agreements Domestic violence and injunctions Client Relationships and Profitability: Maintain strong client relationships and ensure the firm's profitability through regular billing and client development. Document Drafting and Negotiation: Draft and negotiate legal documents with precision and a high level of interpersonal skill, specialised knowledge, and judgment. Case Management: Handle complex family law cases from inception to resolution, providing tailored legal solutions to clients. Mentorship and Leadership: Support and mentor junior team members, assisting in their professional development and contributing to a collaborative team environment. Marketing and Networking: Participate in the firm’s marketing events and seminars. Assist in developing and delivering training events and other marketing initiatives. Legal Updates: Stay current with developments in family law to provide the best advice and representation to clients. Additional Duties: Undertake other reasonable duties as required.
