Position:
The Strategic Account Manager will manage larger, strategic accounts; Maximise Order Intake; Protect and develop customer relationships; Acquisition of new name customers; Promote Open GI products and services.
Key responsibilities
* Maximise order intake
* Protect existing customer base and recurring revenue
* Acquisition of new name customers
* Consistently deliver monthly margin targets
* Promote and sell the Company, all its products and services to customers
* Represent the Company in a fitting and appropriate manner
* Manage and develop customer relationships
Requirements:
Qualifications
* GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths at grade C or above (essential).
* Educated to Degree level (advantage).
Experience
* IT Consultative Sales experience (essential).
* Account Management experience (essential).
* New name customer sales (advantage).
* Insurance industry knowledge (advantage).
* Broking experience (advantage).
Skills
* Essential sales skills (negotiating, closing, objection handling, forecasting, opportunity qualification etc).
* PC literate with working knowledge of MS Office product set.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Driven self-starter with ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
