Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Nurse in our Women's and Children's Clinical business unit, covering paediatrics and gynaecology. We are looking for a committed and self-motivated individual. The Lead Nurse will be accountable for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. They will provide operational nursing advice and expertise, leadership and management support and work collaboratively with the wider MDT to deliver strategic and operational objectives. Main duties of the job The Lead Nurse is a core member of the business unit's triumvirate management team and holds responsibility for ensuring all areas of operational nursing are delivered to a high standard to provide the best possible care and outcomes for our patients. Responsible to the Clinical Business Manager and professionally accountable to the Care Group Associate Chief Nurse to assist in delivering the Trust Nursing and Midwifery Strategy and the development of out-standing clinical practice.
