Closing date: 22nd December 2024 Recruitment Partner: Matt Haywood - matt.haywoodboots.co.uk About the role The DSP Operations Manager is responsible for all day-to-day operations on site and is tasked with ensuring medication is delivered on time, safely and within financial budgets. The role reports to the Head of pharmacy logistics and has 15 direct reports. To lead, develop & motivate a team of assistant managers, pharmacists and acpts who are focused on delivering against the site-specific SLA’s whilst maintaining exceptional safety and delivery standards. Leads and embeds a strong Performance Leadership culture underpinned by ‘Our Behaviours’ in the area to deliver exceptional performance in leaders and teams, acts with honesty and integrity when making consequence management decisions. Grows and develops Assistant managers and operatives through effective coaching conversations. Be responsible for, all DSP costs, ensuring compliance to budget and overall cost effectiveness. Be Responsible for implementing the pharmacy logistics strategy at the DSP to support the business growth objectives Proactively lead continuous improvement on site within the logistics process, reviewing and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Be Responsible for managing relationships with internal and external 3rd party stakeholders in order to maintain consistent high levels of productivity and minimise downtime. Help support future growth in the pharmacy logistics function sharing expertise and experience.
