You will be responsible for:
1. Maximise growth potential and support the business strategy.
2. Generating profitable turnover for each depot’s P&L and sales track customers.
3. Build relationships with customers, which will include some out of hours events and entertaining.
4. Work closely with the relevant depot managers and ensure that you are an integral team member.
5. Communicating and working with suppliers to develop relationships between the depots and suppliers, enhancing our customer service, whilst presenting business reports and preparing sales forecasts.
Please note, this is a field based role and so frequent travel will be required, you will cover between Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
1. Previous experience in a sales based role, with experience of account management and business development. Ideally, you will come from a merchant or construction background.
2. Understanding of base P&L figures and drivers, monitoring regional revenue and analysing trends.
3. Ability to build rapport and establish credibility with account stakeholders.
4. Working towards agreed goals through a structured customer plan.
5. Delivery of excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
6. Collaborative, fast paced and comfortable with change.
