To work as a Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) for Childrens Services. To provide a clinical service to children with a wide range of speech, language and communication disorders. To work autonomously assessing, differentially diagnosing, prioritising, treating and discharging patients with advice/supervision from senior clinicians. To participate in clinical governance activity i.e. research, audit, evidence-based practice. To liaise with and advise other agencies/professionals involved with the patient. To contribute to service planning, improvement and modernisation to ensure patient safety.
