Key Responsibilities:
1. Scope customer engagements, understand their requirements, and align them with appropriate technology solutions.
2. Deliver innovative and best-practice professional services engagements based on agreed project plans or statements of work.
3. Participate in regular customer meetings to share progress, gather feedback, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
4. Identify, analyse, and resolve technical issues related to data platforms and solutions.
5. Escalate complex problems to senior consultants while ensuring timely communication with customers.
6. Develop and implement test plans to ensure the reliability and compatibility of new solutions with customer systems.
7. Coordinate with teams to ensure successful deployments and migrations.
8. Mentor junior team members by sharing best practices and technical knowledge.
9. Conduct workshops and training sessions for customers and internal teams to enhance their understanding of data technologies.
10. Produce detailed technical documentation, including configurations, troubleshooting guides, and project reports.
11. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
12. Present complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including customers, executives, and non-technical stakeholders.
13. Maintain consistent communication with customers, providing updates and addressing concerns proactively.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
1. SC Clearance is essential.
2. Certified Splunk Cloud/Enterprise Admin, Certified Splunk Enterprise Architect, Certified Splunk Core Consultant.
3. Strong expertise in Splunk is essential, including implementation, management, and optimisation.
4. In-depth knowledge of data architecture, dashboards, and real-time data processing. Knowledge of Linux and Windows administration for Splunk installation and log collection is required.
5. A good understanding of enterprise architecture and data sources would be beneficial.
6. Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues. Ability to handle complex challenges and deliver effective solutions.
7. Experience in fostering strong customer relationships and driving satisfaction.
8. Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members to help them develop their skills.
9. Expertise in creating thorough and accurate technical documentation.

Salary:
1. Up to £65,000 per annum (base) + 10% performance bonus
