Working in a busy office you will be responsible for supporting the Financial Controller with the smooth running of sales, sales ledger and providing holiday cover for other departments within finance function. Working Hours are Monday to Friday, working 40 hours per week, generally 8 - 4.30p.m. Areas of Responsibility include: Note: responsibility may be added or varied to respond to the demands of the business Major Activities and Responsibilities: Review orders prior to invoicing and closing orders to allow invoicing Review of Goods Delivered not Invoiced report and take follow up action as necessary Review and raise credit notes Invoicing of hides, and other 5 th quarter sales Proforma invoicing where necessary Communicate with planning team to ensure all orders are invoiced correctly Person Specification: Knowledge and Experience The ideal candidate will demonstrate a background in accounts Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial, sales ledger in particular The candidate should have good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in an excellent manner. Excellent attention to detail is required for this position.
