About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team at a well-established SEN school in Bournemouth. As a TA, you will provide vital support to students with a range of learning needs, helping them to thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students on a 1:1 or small group basis, assisting with learning activities and ensuring engagement
Help students with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks where required
Foster an inclusive, positive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning experiences
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team
Work closely with parents and other professionals to support the holistic development of students
About You:
Previous experience in supporting students with SEN is desirable but not essential
A compassionate, patient, and proactive attitude with a strong desire to support children’s individual learning needs
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
A commitment to promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, or equivalent) are an advantage, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
