An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Financial Services team in the Treasury Section focusing mainly on daily cashbook and bank reconciliations.
The successful candidate will form part of our friendly team. The role will play an important part in helping the Trust and its Subsidiaries maintain a successful Treasury department and also be involved in successfully implementing new progressive ways of working.
The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels, as well as good organisational skills and a real commitment to providing an excellent service delivery. They must be capable of working to tight deadlines, prioritising workloads, and working on their own initiative as well as under supervision, and have a "Can Do" attitude.
The candidate will possess good Excel skills. We are keen to offer all staff the opportunity to build upon their existing related knowledge and skills and will support training requests in respect of this wherever possible.
The position will be office-based with the potential for some working from home and offers the benefits of flexible working. Secondment applications are welcome.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be part of a wider Treasury team dealing with bank and cash-related tasks for the Trust and its subsidiaries. This will involve daily review of bank balance and statements, cashbook and bank reconciliations, transacting payments through the bank, and dealing with incoming queries among other tasks.
Each team member has responsibility to ensure the cashbooks are effectively managed, dealing with queries on a daily basis as they arrive. The role will include regular bank to cash reconciliations, weekly petty cash review and reimbursement requests, as well as review and recording of income received.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential with the ability to deal with people at all levels, and good organisational skills are a must with a real commitment to excellent service delivery. Good customer service skills will be an advantage due to the nature of the role and being the first point of contact for many Treasury and Debt related queries.
Experience of working in a busy finance office environment with a fast pace of work is desirable. Management of own workload and being a team player in our "Can Do" team is essential whilst working to deadlines ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have some Excel skills and experience of working with online banking systems as well as computerised ledger systems.

* AAT-qualified,
* or exceptionally experienced candidate
* GCSE Maths and English
* AAT Qualification or any other CCAB

* Extensive experience/knowledge of spreadsheet, database, and computerised ledger applications

* Good analytical skills, including the interpretation of complex data for management information
