A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is looking for a short-term role in a Primary school in the Clitheroe area on a full-time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2025, with shortlisting currently underway.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and classroom activities
* Assisting students with their learning, including those with additional needs
* Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning
* Preparing and organising learning resources for lessons
* Supporting students in small group work and 1-1 sessions
* Monitoring and recording student progress and providing feedback to the teacher
* Assisting with the supervision of students during breaks and lunch
* Contributing to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN
* Supporting the implementation of school policies and health & safety guidelines
* Maintaining communication with parents regarding student progress when necessary
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
* Relevant qualifications
* Proven experience of working as a Teaching assistant
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
* Two education or school-based references
