The business we are representing is a leading distributor of instantly recognisable branded healthcare and beauty products. Over recent years, they have built a strong presence across the Grocery, Convenience, Pharmacy, and Wholesale channels. Their exceptional culture and success have been acknowledged with several prestigious awards.
Having experienced significant growth and success, the business has firmly established itself as a leading supplier in its categories. Following the acquisition of several new brands, they are now looking to appoint two National Account Managers: one to oversee a portfolio of healthcare brands across the major Grocery Multiples, and the other to manage their brands within the Pharmacy retail sector.
Roles
As National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and driving a portfolio of branded healthcare products.
Grocery National Account Manager
In this role, you will manage the major Grocery Multiples, including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, and
Morrisons.
Pharmacy National Account Manager
This position will see you working with Pharmacy retailers, including Boots and Superdrug.
For both roles, you will report into the Account Controller and collaborate closely with the wider commercial team. Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing joint business plans with your customer base, aligned with brand strategy
* Maximising product brand share and providing strategic customer support
* Managing sales forecasting, promotional activity, and account budgets
* Monitoring account performance, delivering sales targets, and analysing competitor activity
Requirements
To be considered, you must be a driven and results-oriented individual with a proven track record of growing and managing accounts within retail customers, such as Boots, Superdrug, or the leading Grocery Multiples.
Experience working with branded FMCG products is essential—ideally within healthcare or OTC medicine. You will need strong relationship-building skills, self-motivation, and the ability to drive success within your accounts.
Location
These are home-based roles, with regular travel to customers and occasional visits (1–2 times per month) to the company’s South East head office.
Benefits
£50,000–£60,000, bonus, company car or car allowance, healthcare, pension, and additional benefits.
