Supply Teacher - Flexible Opportunities Available

Availability: Full-time & Day-to-Day Cover Throughout the School Year
Are you a committed and adaptable supply teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities in Brent? We are currently working with primary schools across the borough that require supply teachers to cover sickness, PPA sessions, and other absences on both a short-term and long-term basis.
Requirements of a Supply Teacher:
1. To work as a suppl Yeacher you must have qualified teacher status (QTS) or QTLS with a valid Teacher Reference Number (TRN)
2. Alternatively, significant experience as an unqualified teacher in UK classrooms
3. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons across different year groups
4. Adaptability to different school environments and the ability to integrate quickly into new classrooms
5. A professional and positive approach with a passion for teaching
6. Availability to work at least one day per week
7. A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one through us)
Role and Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher:
8. Provide cover for absent teachers, ensuring continuity in students' learning
9. Deliver pre-planned lessons or create engaging sessions to support students' development
10. Maintain a positive and structured learning environment with effective classroom management
11. Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to aid academic progress
12. Collaborate with school staff to support the smooth running of the school day
