SITE MANAGER – ELECTRICAL CONTRACTING
Due to a substantial period of growth, this well-established electrical engineering contract business is looking to recruit an ambitious Site Manager to join the team in a Midlands based role.
In taking full ownership of this exciting key role in the business, you will attract a highly competitive basic salary starting from £55k upwards depending on the level of experience and industry knowledge you can bring to the business. The role will also offer a car allowance, annual bonus, and pension.
The Site Manager must be a driven individual with the flexibility to spend the majority of their time away from home. You will have a full understanding of site Health & Safety, daily reporting and paperwork and scope of works. You must be comfortable with client site interaction and show a great commercial acumen.
Experience of industrial LV power and process installation would be advantageous.

Job Description
As Site Manager you will be confident to tackle all levels of project within an engineering environment with a collaborative approach.
Additionally you will have experience and knowledge of:
* Understanding Health & Safety at work Regulations
* Commercial acumen/mindset
* Daily paperwork/reporting
* Client liaison
* Scope of works
* Management of multi skilled teams (electricians, labourers, apprentices)
* Containment/cabling/connections
* Interpreting electrical design information
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
This company is very customer focused, so the successful candidate must be able to think outside of the box and have a natural problem-solving ability to overcome challenges and provide solutions to client requirements.
Additional skills
* Experience with Amtech/AutoCAD but not essential
* Experience of managing contractors, consultants and other advisors in process based projects
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, able to develop relationships and maintain effective networks
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Good knowledge of CDM Regulations
