By joining us as a ‘Children’s Nurse’, you will not only be delivering high-quality care but also be the face of Sciensus, experiencing increased job satisfaction by providing holistic one-to-one care within the patient’s own home.
You will be part of an ambitious team, empowering each patient by offering personalised support. While based in Plymouth, you will travel throughout a regional area, delivering specialist treatment and making a real difference in people’s lives every day.
You will offer quality nursing tailored to the child's needs, ensuring all professional standards are excelled and relevant care plans are delivered. You will treat patients with a wide range of conditions, including growth hormone and biologic treatments for conditions such as juvenile arthritis, Crohn's disease, and psoriasis. You will manage your own daily workload while maintaining stock, supplies, and equipment. All clinical data will be recorded accurately to ensure quality care is maintained and delivered, and any adverse effects reported via the correct protocol. You will maintain and demonstrate up-to-date knowledge, ensuring any gaps in clinical competency are addressed while also staying compliant with all business policies and procedures.
A full UK driving licence is essential as regional travel will be required to visit patients at home.
