Job Summary
Role Title: Mental Health and Wellbeing Transition Officer
Location: Yale
Contract Type: Full time, Fixed Term (November 2025)
Salary: £26,842 to £29,380
Are you interested in working and supporting Mental Health? We are now recruiting for a Mental Health and Wellbeing Transition Officer. In this role, you will ensure the smooth transition of learners with mental health and/or safeguarding needs from schools or other settings into the college; and you will be supporting learners from the college into further education.
We are looking for someone that has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, showing personal drive and self-confidence, a strong team player who can work cooperatively with team members of all levels.
Essential Requirements
* Level 3 or above in a relevant mental health or wellbeing qualification
* Proven experience of working with young people with mental ill health.
* Proven administrative and organisational skills including experience of handling confidential information.
* Able to demonstrate personal resilience in order to cope with a range of difficult situations
* Competent digital literacy skills.
* Be able to develop and use a range of teaching and learning techniques
Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
