Key Responsibilities As a Data Analyst, you will: Data Collection & Analysis: Gather data from multiple sources (databases, spreadsheets, systems, etc.). Ensure data accuracy through cleaning and pre-processing. Analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Reporting & Visualization: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports. Present findings clearly to stakeholders using visualizations and concise reports. Collaborate with various departments to understand data needs and provide actionable insights. Model Development: Build predictive models for forecasting and decision-making. Validate and document methodologies, ensuring a robust audit trail. Finance Team Support: Assist with creating Board Packs, budget planning, and financial forecasting. Support commission processes and streamline financial reporting. Aid with month-end closing, credit control, and other finance tasks. What You Bring Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, data visualisation, and automation of processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills to present complex information clearly. Familiarity with tools like Power BI and Xero (advantageous). Accounting or bookkeeping experience is a distinct advantage.
