Job Details JobMatcha are recruiting for a hard working Planner that will be working independently, responsible for initiating and completing tasks and procedures, including where relevant responsibility for supervising or guiding others. The ability to gain, and where relevant apply a range of knowledge, skills and understanding. Key Information and Benefits: 10 Hours per day Location Reigate plus site visits across the London and South region. Ongoing work for a Planner Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 Company car or Car allowance Tasks and Responsibilities for the position: Work with the Planning / Project Manager to develop project programme with knowledge of critical path, float and risk and opportunity and understand construction sequencing and timings Determine activity durations from quantities and outputs Identify project critical success factors for the programme Undertake what if scenarios and report their projected outcomes Understand the basic principles and key requirements of the contract and how this affects preparation and context of The Programme Guide/Support the Assistant Planner with duties including weekly progress, phasing, logistics and timeslice plans Support the Project team in planning and organising works accordingly Prepare Phasing, Logistics and Timeslice Plans along with associated methodology/narratives as required by the tender deliverables. Assist in compilation of Prelims Undertake independent progress reporting and report findings Work with the Digital Engineering Team to develop accurate 4D simulations of the Project Support and collaborate with other company staff to ensure that the works are planned and organised accordingly. Establish effective relationships with the supply chain to ensure planning requirements are understood and being acted upon, maintain register of as-built information Obtain as-built outputs from site studies and share with the Planning Team, Ensure that Client reporting requirements are always met Assist with the production of the Project Management Report including the planning and controls sections Identify where temporary works are required and what to do once identified Understand the effect of change and what to do when you identify change.
