Responsibilities in your new role as Solicitor
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a deep understanding of the legal complexities surrounding noise-induced hearing loss and occupational health issues. You will:
1. Manage a caseload of industrial deafness claims from initial client contact through to settlement or trial.
2. Provide expert legal advice to clients who have suffered from hearing loss or related conditions due to workplace environments.
3. Investigate claims, gather medical evidence, and liaise with experts to build strong cases.
4. Negotiate settlements and represent clients in hearings or trials when required.
5. Stay up-to-date with developments in industrial deafness law and regulations.
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues and external experts to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We require a qualified Solicitor in Scotland with strong litigation experience, having proven expertise in handling personal injury claims. A solid knowledge of relevant legislation and case law surrounding noise-induced hearing loss and workplace injury claims is essential. You should possess excellent communication and client care skills along with the ability to manage a busy caseload while working under pressure. Your keen eye for detail and strong analytical approach to case management will set you apart in this role. Minimum 2 years PQE is required to ensure you have the experience to thrive.
