We are working with our client who are a successful and world class manufacturing business based in Cramlington in their search for an Engineering/Production Coordinator
You will be centrally positioned within the operations teams to support the design, development and coordination of all general business administration aswell as well as developing training documentation and working with machine programmes etc
This role would suit someone who has done a general all-round role within engineering offices and wants to advance their career
Responsibilities:
• Work with the purchasing department and help to handle supplier communication
• Assist in developing SOP’s and related production documentation
• Work with the engineering and production department
• Support teams with costing and budgeting and operational timings
• Ensure engineering related documentation is correct and compliant
• Work on continuous improvement projects for efficiency etc
The Person:
• Experience working in an engineering/production company
• Excellent IT knowledge to learn new systems etc
• Pro-active initiative is a must in this role as it is quite flexible
