Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Administrator/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
1. Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
2. Answer and direct phone calls with excellent phone etiquette.
3. Manage the reception area, keeping it tidy and welcoming.
4. Handle data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
5. Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
6. Assist with clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and photocopying documents.
7. Provide administrative support to various departments as required.
Skills
1. Proficient in all Microsoft Packages including Excel, Word, Powerpoint & Outlook email
2. Excellent typing skills - both accuracy & speed
3. Ability to adapt to & learn in-house computer systems
4. Ability to prioritise workload
5. Exceptional customer service skills & phone manner
6. Able to multi-task
7. Excellent verbal & written communication - English GCSE C and above
8. Attention to detail with inputting data & sensitive information
9. Previous experience within an administrative role
10. Able to work under pressure
11. General ad-hoc office duties to include scanning & internally filing records in the computer system
12. Managing inbound communications
13. Scheduling meetings for staff within the care home - sending invites & accurate minute taking
14. Monitoring main Nursing Home inbox and responding to any queries or requests.
