Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Assistant Accountant based at Ailsa Hospital .
What you will do:
You will provide direct support to the relevant Management Accountant and will be responsible for the provision of financial management information and budgetary reports. Key duties include the management of all costs and activity relevant to the treatment of patients between the various Scottish Territorial Boards via Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), Cross-Boundary activity, financial elements of monitoring the Board’s Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), and UNPACS (extra contractual referrals) not covered within SLA’s.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
1. Proficiency in all Microsoft packages, but in particular Excel and O365.HND/AAT educated or equivalent.
2. Good experience of management accounting.
3. Detailed knowledge of VAT and finance regime.
4. Good communication skills (both written and orally).
5. Good time management skills.
6. Computer literate.
7. Ability to work individually and in a team setting.
8. Able to work with minimal supervision.
