Pinnacle Group is seeking a dedicated Relief School Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will be joining our Facilities Cleaning Team based at Cookridge Primary School LS16.
Your role will involve general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste management to ensure that the internal school facilities are cleaned to the required standard as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor or Caretaker.
The shifts are available on an ad hoc basis Monday to Friday 4pm – 7pm Term Time. You will still be working during school holidays but will do your hours between 8 am – 4 pm, and this could lead to regular hours. This role also has weekly pay.

Key responsibilities will include:
* Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks etc.
* Ensure adherence to the colour coding directives and regularly change mop heads, cloths, and other equipment.
* Damp-wipe tables, chairs, desks, and hard surfaces.
* Vacuum all soft floors and carpets including barrier matting.
* Clean and sanitise touch points, door handles, push plates, and other surfaces.
Key requirements:
* The ability to work alone or as part of a team.
* Good knowledge of the use of cleaning chemicals including COSHH.
* Cleaning experience in a school environment is preferred; however, full training will be given.
* Please Note: The appointment of this role will be subject to completion of a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service Check (DBS).
