Salary: £17.00 Per Hour
Full Time: 36 Hours
Shifts:
1. 1 x 12 hour admin shift
2. 2 x 12 hours support worker shifts
Holidays: 33 days per year (pro rata)
Requirements:
* Full driving licence and car required for this role
* Background in care and support
* Experience supporting individuals with personality disorders, PTSD, complex trauma, and autism
* Knowledge of trauma-informed care practice
* Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is advantageous
You will play a pivotal role in providing person-centred support for a nonbinary individual with a complex trauma history to develop essential life skills and independence. They are supported on a 2:1 basis in their own home. They are an avid animal lover and have rescue cats, with interests in crystals, music, swimming, and spending time with their son.
You will be part of a dynamic and resilient team that values diversity, promotes inclusion, and fosters a supportive environment.
An understanding of ADHD, Autism, and EUPD (Emotionally unstable personality disorder) is advantageous, as is the ability to deal with challenging situations.
Hours: We will be providing support on a 24/7 basis with a staff ratio of two to one, and therefore we are looking to build a team who can play a part in providing support on a rotational basis. The roster works on a three days a week approach, with contracts of 36 hours per week for three full days, including alternate weekend working and sleep-ins.
