About the Role As a Reflection Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the Reflection Room, where students can go to reflect on their behavior and work on strategies for improvement. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes positive behavior and emotional well-being. Key Responsibilities of Reflection Room Supervisor Supervise students in the Reflection Room, ensuring a calm and supportive atmosphere. Assist students in understanding and reflecting on their behavior, helping them develop strategies for improvement. Monitor and assess students' progress, provide feedback to teachers and adjusting support strategies as necessary. Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to students' development. Create a positive and inclusive environment to foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where students feel valued and included. Use a variety of methods to engage and motivate students, catering to their diverse needs. Maintain accurate records of students' progress and report to teachers, parents, and other relevant parties. Requirements for Reflection Room Supervisor Prior experience in a similar role is essential, demonstrating an understanding of the unique challenges and needs of students with behavioral and emotional needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues, building positive and supportive relationships. Demonstrate the ability to establish trust and rapport with all members of the school community. Show a deep commitment to helping students by exhibiting patience and empathy in your interactions. Relevant qualifications or training in behavioral management (desirable but not essential). To work with us as a Reflection Room Supervisor, you will need: Have the right to work in the UK.
