You will be responsible for systems analysis, functional analysis, design, application problem resolution and support. We are looking for expert on Oracle eBusiness administration, Service, HRMS, Financial Modules, and SQL Plus to collaborate with product owners in creating user requirements, design and develop solutions, and prepare complex documents including program specifications. You will help us produce scalable, efficient, and supportable solutions utilizing Oracle and related technologies. You will work on an existing SCRUM team and will participate in all agile events established by the team. You will also join your team in continuous improvement activities like the internal "Good to Great" agile initiative. •Sets up and maintains application security, responsibilities, and roles.
•Ensures appropriate set-up and security decisions are made for the ORACLE database by working with the Data Base Administrator.
•Assists in the installation of the ERP applications on user PCs, customization of user reports and tables.
•Manages and leads an agile team and is responsible for developing quality deliverables that satisfy user requirements and VSP IT/VITA standards.
•Develops complete project plans; tracks project progress; monitors milestones, schedules, and costs against estimates; identifies and manages risk; and coordinates requirements with stakeholders, other systems, and the Engineering unit.
•Ensures compliance with standards, stakeholder participation, ongoing communications with stakeholders and timely user sign-off/acceptance.
•Performs systems analysis tasks including project identification, requirements definition, conceptual design, detail design, conversion planning, implementation planning, system administration and documentation.
•Develops functional expertise of organizational units supported.
•Maintains up to date knowledge on programming languages and technology related to the Information Technology Industry.
•Assists and provides direction to co-workers on using new techniques and on solving their complex technical problems.
•Ensures Agile Principles are followed within the team to help to help increase speed and quality of delivery and improve alignment across projects.
•Ensures the following Agile Manifesto guidelines for VSP are put into practice.
•Follows Scrum methodology that suits project/team.
•Participates in Agile Ceremonies.
•Work as a team to improve/enhance the seven patterns of Agile.
•Participates in Team building exercises.
•Strives to be self-organizing and Cross Functional.
•Ensures a safe work area.
Minimum Qualifications
•This position requires extensive experience with systems analysis and design, and application problem resolution and support.
•Demonstrated ability to define user requirements, design and develop solutions, and prepare complex documents including program specifications.
•Expertise with Oracle eBusiness administration, Service, HRMS, Financial Modules, and SQLPlus.
•Collaborate with business stakeholders and other cross functional team members (Developers, Functional Analysts, and Testers) to produce scalable, efficient, and supportable solutions utilizing Oracle and related technologies.
•Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with management, users, information technology personnel, and vendors, both orally, and in writing in English.
•Ability to successfully interact in a team environment.
•High school graduate or equivalent.
•Ability to troubleshoot software application deployment and configuration issues, resolve complex application issues in Oracle e-Business Suite Modules (HRMS and Financial) and Oracle e-Business Process Management (BPM) workflows using automated recovery scripting and procedures.
Additional Considerations
•Experience with Oracle applications desired.
