Your purpose:
* Involvement in both pre- and post- contract commercial management and quantity surveying duties throughout the project lifecycle.
* Provide high-quality cost control to ensure successful delivery across a range of contracts and safeguard the interests of AtkinsRéalis.
* Adhere to the project commercial strategy to maximise revenue, cash flow & EBIT.
* Support project teams in change control and providing weekly and monthly updates to project leads.
* Proactively engaging and offering commercial support to project teams including regular visibility across offices and sites, where teams are based.
* Support bid teams where required on strategic bids with clients and contractors in line with AtkinsRéalis requirements.
* Comply with the Company Management System (CMS) and all AtkinsRéalis procedures.
* Help with wider market and divisional requirements as they arise and deliver to business and project deadlines.
What you can bring:
* Appropriate Degree and committed to work towards membership with relevant professional body (e.g., MRICS, MCInstCES etc).
* Prior experience in a quantity surveying role from main contractor or consultancy, and knowledge of contract management and change control.
* Understanding of the principles of common Forms of Contract (particularly NEC & NEC PSC).
* Ability to communicate effectively with others in project and business unit teams, including through use of various Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
Security clearance:
This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
