Plant Operator (Anaerobic Digestion)
Join a cutting-edge Anaerobic Digestion (AD) facility in East Lothian, driving renewable energy production through biogas. As a Plant Operator, you'll contribute to sustainable energy initiatives while gaining valuable skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities of Plant Operator:
1. Operate and monitor systems for biogas, biofertilizer, and CO₂ production.
2. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
3. Handle feedstock materials (manure, silage) for anaerobic digestion.
4. Maintain records of plant performance, gas output, and operations.
5. Support engineers with troubleshooting and technical challenges.
6. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
7. Assist with maintenance, start-up, and shutdown processes.
What You Bring:
1. Experience in plant operations or process control is a plus but not required.
2. Problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and in teams.
3. Commitment to safety and environmental standards.
4. No prior process experience needed—comprehensive training provided.
5. Telehandler license preferred but not essential (training available).
