Hours 5 hours per week / flexible hours to be agreed with employer
Payrate £15.00 per hour
Holiday 5.6 weeks per year including bank holidays (pro rata for part time)
Driving Licence Essential, and use of own vehicle required
DBS Check Yes - will be funded by the employer
A bit about me:
I’m a 56 year old easy going lady who likes reading and writing. I love animals and we currently have an outdoor rabbit. I live with my 2 Sons and we are all neuro-divergent.
I’m starting physiotherapy soon with an aim to improve my strength and mobility.
About the role:
I need someone to help me with Personal Care, mainly assistance with showering due to balance issues. I will also need help getting dressed, applying creams and hair care if needed.
I would also like someone to do some light housework, for example, changing bedsheets. Also food prep is required. Help with shopping and medical appointments may also be needed. I would also need support with visiting the swimming pool.
The kind of person I am looking for:
I am looking for someone who is easy going and flexible with a good understanding of neuro-diversity or a willingness to learn.
