Role/ Department: Reporting directly to the head of Sales EMEA, the Head of Sales UK will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, managing the UK asset management sales activities and oversee a high-performance sales team, while coordinating efforts across the UK institutional client group team. This high-impact position requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in capital raising across various stages and investor types. The ideal candidate will bring an established network of senior and C-suite connections and a deep understanding of the UK asset management market, possesses strong leadership, strategic planning and business development expertise. The key responsibilities of the role include: Develop strategic business plan and pipeline together with the team Define sales strategy, focus areas and success factors to excel with the team Analyse Client types, industry and market drive themes to identify client acquisition opportunities Maintain and expand strong network in the UK including C-level connections Maintain connection with industry platforms, main actors and initiatives and being NTAM’s client figurehead in the UK market Coach and mentor the team to develop careers and ambitions Manage pipeline, metrics and progress of results Work closely with Relationship Management and Account Management teams to make sure the clients servicing expectations are exceeded at all times Be a contributing member of a team that thrives on partnership, innovation, and execution; a team player Strong focus on cultural behaviours: connect, understand, listen, resolve, work towards solutions, accountable, entrepreneurial and committed. Skills / Qualifications: The successful candidate will benefit from having: Multi-asset class experience with additional focus on Quant, Alternatives, ESG and co-creating institutional investment solutions Very strong knowledge of and network within the UK institutional market (who are the main actors – industry initiatives and actors – C-level contacts and experience is acting as UK figurehead) A strong track record in sales within the UK asset management industry Experience in managing and building high-performing teams and being a player-coach Proven track-record in driving innovation and culture.
